The psychology of design illuminates how we perceive objects, spaces and media.This foundation teaching module is an introduction to the psychology of perception that is tailored for young designers.
Following on from this are modules on the psychological aspects of material culture, spaces and media. Further teaching elements deal with aspects of playing and learning.The specialised, research-oriented modules, which are mainly intended for the master’s course in Design Studies, investigate how senses/states of consciousness, objects and spaces are presented in media.
