Exchange Applicants

Application Documents for Erasmus and Freemover Incomings

In order to apply as an Erasmus exchange student, please fill out our Application Form for Erasmus Students. Please make sure that your home university’s International Office has signed the second page of the official Application Form before you send it to us.

Necessary documents in German or English (to add)

  • 1.    Curriculum Vitae
  • 2.    Letter of Motivation
  • 3.    Transcript of your current studies
  • 4.    Printed Portfolio/ digital portfolio MM|VR- Design/ Time-based Arts
  • 5.    Copy of ID card
  • 6.   Two passport photos

Please note: There is no need to send any Learning Agreements to the International Office in order to apply. If you do, however, have to hand in a Learning Agreement for your home university prior to your arrival in Halle, we recommend that you contact your academic coordinator / academic tutor in Halle, since all details concerning study plans cannot be addressed by the International Office.

After contacting your academic coordinator please use the following study course plans to complete your Learning Agreement.

  • Industrial Design (PDF)
  • Communication Design (PDF)
  • Interior Architecture (PDF)
  • Fashion Design (PDF)
  • Textile Design (PDF)
  • Multimedia-/Virtual Reality Design (PDF)
  • all fields of study in Fine Arts (PDF)

Application Deadlines

  • Winter term (October – March):         15th of May
  • Summer term (April – September):     15th of November
