 \"cont\": \"<p>Digital Structural Composites \u2013 A Collection of Digital and Physical Structural Samples<br \/>Farid Taher<\/p><p>Is it possible to create different properties within an object, made form just one physical material but different structures, by using generative, computer-aided design methods? Experiments in three phases address this question. The process is characterised by an experimental exploration of the software Grasshopper as well as digitally generated materiality.<br \/>The explored structural composites can appear in different materials and objects. They were prototypically produced using SLA and FDM printing processes and consist of a single physically tangible material, the filament or resin, and the non-physical digital material, the software.<br \/>The process is designed to create functional structural assemblies, as is common in nature, by using digital manufacturing methods.
