NAVONA explores textiles as vessels for memories, atmospheres and social encounters. Observations of Piazza Navona give rise to textile visual worlds in which historical narratives intertwine with the fleeting stories of everyday life. The work explores how design can not only depict stories, but also make them tangible. Precisely because textiles are touched and used, they create a direct form of engagement that goes beyond mere observation.
