There are strong emotional bonds between couples - apart from the love that is simply assumed. The mutual feelings fluctuate between jealousy, affection, eroticism, weariness and so on. Almost everyone knows this. Artistscouples express this emotionality through shared art. Or just not? Is there anything perceptible? Which pictures, sculptures, photos, installations were expressly created together, which relate to each other, which distance themselves? Which ones deal with the relationship?

This field of tension of a pair of artists should be expressed in the materials. The emotions, the conflicts, the shared passions. And in the most emotional of all colours, in red: Which trait represents which red? Which abstract pattern shows the tension, which the affection? Which shades of red harmonize, which bear witness to the great crises, which to everyday life?

At least two shades of red should be used on each fabric - from light pink to dark wine red, from red-orange to red-violet. The means of implementation are first and foremost screen printing with a wide variety of pastes. This is supplemented with foils, perforated sheets, laser cutting, dyeing, embroidery, painting, cutting, pressing and so on. The result is a series of refined fabrics that illustrate the relationship of a particular pair of artists.

Four elements are to be worked out: the sketchbook that accompanies the process, the collection/fundus of the resulting patterns, including the experiments, the selection that best describes the relationship. The finale should be a fabric of at least 1 x 2.50 m, which characterizes the commonality of the couple.
