Change of the University

In the case of a change of university before completion of the second year of study, the entrance examination must usually be passed.
Students who have passed the intermediate examination or 120 CP in a comparable course of study at a German art college or university can apply to the examination board of the respective course of study by December 1 (for the coming summer semester) and June 1 (for the coming winter semester). The Examination Committee reviews the documents received and invites candidates who appear to be suitable to an interview.

Components of the application

A portfolio showing previous academic work. Format maximum A4, no digital media (exception: applications for the MM|VR Design course)
Transcript or excerpt of grades showing achievements to date, if possible with the corresponding module descriptions
Letter of motivation of maximum one page explaining why you want to continue your studies at BURG.

Date of the interview

The interviews take place in January/February for applicants for the summer semester, in June/July for applications for the following winter semester.
