SprayPulp - Franz Kauffmann, Malte Gebhardt, Leonard Schumann
Spraypulp is an open process for creating lightweight objects from recycled paper pulp. Using a spray gun, finely processed pulp is applied directly onto molds or surfaces. The result is sustainable structures with a new, paper-based materiality - individual, resource - conscious, and surprisingly durable.
The method allows for low-threshold, experimental work with paper. Without the need for complex tools, three-dimensional shapes and surface elements can be formed. Spraypulp invites a playful intersection of material research, design, and sustainability.
It is conceived as an open system.
Instructions, material recipes, and mold concepts can be shared and developed further. In educational and maker contexts, it offers new ways of engaging with circular materials.
