It is installed on existing or newly fitted roller shutter guides in the window frame. Colour-coated solar cells on the slats allow flexible adaptation to the fa\u00e7ade design. The solar cells are arranged in such a way that they can be cut to size for different window widths. Each solar slat is individually connected and can be replaced separately in the case of a defect, which simplifies repairs and extends the lifespan of the system. When extended, the shutter completely shades the window; when opened, it folds upwards and creates a vibrant play of shadows. Each slat is designed as a separate component and can be clicked in and out independently of the other elements. This system allows individual elements to be replaced in the event of defects or aging without having to replace the entire product. In the event of damage, the affected slat can be identified via an integrated NFC sticker and directly reordered. The defective slat is returned, while the replacement module can be clicked into place by the user without the need for tools. This significantly extends the lifespan of the Auflade and simplifies repairs. It is installed in existing or retrofitted roller shutter guides within the window reveal and does not require any major structural alterations to the fa\u00e7ade. This makes the system suitable for both new and existing buildings and allows for easy removal. At the same time, the modular principle opens up new possibilities for personalisation. Individual slats can be deliberately selected, combined or redesigned at a later date. The cladding is available in different colours, which are not homogeneous full colours, but rather subtle colour nuances within a colour scheme. These slightly varying, monochrome gradations create a lively fa\u00e7ade design. This means that the cladding can be adapted to different architectural contexts and can also be updated and rearranged over the course of its use. The solar slats are available in different sizes. Solar cells are integrated into each slat, arranged in such a way that the slats can be interconnected on one side and cut to fit different window widths in areas without cells. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.34%\">\n<p class=\"subtitle\">This flexible grid allows for a high degree of adaptability to different structural situations. Each solar slat basically consists of several layers: a support material made of Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP), the solar cells arranged on top of it, and a protective, thin layer of Gorilla Glass. Aluminium Composite Panel is used because of its low weight and high dimensional stability, in order to minimise the overall weight of the slats and reduce the mechanical stress on guide rails, hinges and frames. In addition, the glass is coated with a special, pigment-free colour coating produced using Morpho technology. This structural colouring allows the colour to be adapted to different fa\u00e7ade designs without significantly impairing the performance of the solar cells. The individual slats are connected via a surrounding frame and hinges, which enable both mechanical movement and electrical connection. The cable routing runs invisibly inside the frame, ensuring a clean, minimalist design. All cables are bundled within the system and routed neatly into the interior, where they are stored in a compact, integrated box for the inverter. MC4 connectors, which are commonly used, are often too large for modular systems. The concept therefore provides for a specific design of the inner housing with more delicate connectors, which enable smooth interconnection and further simplify the replacement of individual slats. The modular design makes Auflade a repairable, adaptable and long-lasting product.
