Dr. Rosenthal later refined the process, using water, starch, and sawdust to achieve a similar materiality. Weber, in collaboration with students from Applied Arts Schneeberg and Denkstatt Erzgebirge, explored \u201cmass\u201d over one semester. In his lecture at the Designhaus on March 15, 2024, Weber showcased four student projects that experimented with new uses for the material. These projects included molding body parts with rattan as a support material, producing paper from house dust, creating toys with silicone molds, and using baked mass as a turning material.
