Customizable, industrially reproducible, and recyclable

MonoAd is an innovative shoe insole that adapts perfectly to every foot. The system is based on a granulate-filled TPU film that is molded directly to the foot by creating a vacuum. Within a few minutes, a custom-made insole is created that adapts perfectly to the individual contour.

The way it works is simple: granules of varying fineness in the film are compressed under negative pressure and take on the precise shape of the foot. This ensures improved pressure distribution when walking and noticeably increases wearing comfort—especially during long walks in everyday life.

MonoAd is made entirely of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and is therefore recyclable as a single-type monomaterial. No additional adhesives or bonding layers are used. The adjustment is easy to do in the shoe: the insole is shaped by normal weight bearing, and an integrated channel then creates the vacuum and permanently fixes the individual fit.
