Workshops: Getting Started BioLab & SustainLab

The format of the Getting Started workshops offers students initial access to the BurgLabs. The BioLab offers a one-day intensive introduction to the basics of laboratory work. Hands-on, students are introduced to equipment, chemicals and microorganisms. The SustainLab focuses on topics such as the ecological dimensions of materials, the basics of life cycle assessment, practical work with material studies and the use of ecodesign tools. Through the workshops, participants learn about the methods, practices and possibil- ities of the laboratories with the aim of enabling students to work independently in the laboratories under supervision.
