Porcelain lighting objects

In my project I focused on light and its effect on the human body, specifically what the color of light does to our system. I was fascinated by the translucency of porcelain and designed lamps that can be used in the evening to create a calming atmosphere. The dimmed light with a higher kelvin value makes the body better prepared for sleep or relaxation. What I like about the material used is its two forms. The contrast between the white austere mass and the organic expression during the illumination, creating an original product that will catch the eye at any time. I was inspired by the buoys that work as a navigation system. The colours of the plastic parts created by 3D printing technology from coloured PLA are also inspired by the colours of the buoys.  I like the combination of the safety and calm aspect with my product. Like a buoy at sea, Calma can be your safety point at home.
