For what?
They are ideal for capturing high-quality audio during lectures, documentaries, video conferences and hybrid events.
Speakers can move freely without affecting the sound quality. The sound source and recording device can be located in different places.
It is possible to record using two microphones at the same time. The recordings from the two microphones can be saved as two separate audio tracks which can be combined during post-production.

Tips
Always ensure the devices are fully charged before use. Ideally, charge them the day before.
The receiver is identical to the microphones, except for its display. They can be easily confused.
The maximum distance between the receiver and microphone is 200 metres. Obstacles such as walls, trees or people can affect signal quality.
The microphones can be clipped on or held in the hand.
Since the microphones are square, the attachable fur helps speakers to know where to speak into the microphone. Attach the fur to the microphones by turning them halfway.
Always attach the fur cover to the microphones when recording outdoors.
For audience questions, pass the microphone around (note line of sight and distance).
A compact setup for hybrid small group formats is created by combining the microphone with the Meeting Owl (as a camera only).
The RodeCentral app allows you to record on the microphone without connecting to a device
A special adapter (Rode Sc6) and a TRS-to-TRSS cable (Rode sc7) are required for the use with a smartphone or tablet.
