If your university has an exchange agreement with our university, you are welcome to apply for an exchange in any of our study programs. Please note that we do not accept free mover applications.

The introduction day for exchange students is scheduled a few days before the regular introduction week, which takes place at the end of September for the winter term and at the end of March for the summer term. We will inform you of the exact date once your acceptance has been confirmed.

Preparing your arrival

We have prepared a Guide with a collection of important and useful information and we hope it will guide you through an unforgettable stay in Halle.You will find information on enrolment, housing, health insurance, finances, visas and the Learning Agreement, among other things.

We look forward to welcoming colleagues for teaching or training purposes on special occasions. However, due to limited capacity, there are some constraints. If you are interested in coming to BURG for short teaching or training mobility (2–5 days) through the Erasmus programme, please bear in mind the following guidance.
