Excursion: Visit of Circular Berlin

Circular Berlin e.V. is a non-profit organization working to develop Berlin into a circular-oriented city within the framework of the sustainability goals adopted by the city, by generating knowledge, building networks, and realizing implementation-oriented projects. Their activities include workshops for companies or educational institutions, regular events, and digital tools that serve to bring together actors from various fields and enable synergies. They focus on areas such as construction, urban strategies, product and material design, food and biomass, as well as textiles and fashion.
During our excursion, the association repeatedly appeared as a partner of other circular economy actors. For example, in collaboration with the Material Mafia based in the Haus der Statistik, which owes the open-source code for its online catalog to Circular Berlin.
