WORKSHOP ON CIRCULARITY

In a one-day-workshop Manuel Bickel gave us a great insight into his research on circular economy and circular design – especially concerning bioplastics. He pointed out the effects of our anthropogenic resource consumption and explained to great detail the potentials and restrictions of circular material flows. Furthermore, various aspects of circular design were identified, discussed and linked to possibilities for designers to take action.
In the course of the semester Manuel Bickel supported the students writing their paper – also with useful hints concerning scientific writing in general.
