ONE WAY

When moisture is added, the fibres of the veneer expand in the transverse direction, causing the veneer to curl. During drying, this effect is reversed, so that the veneer is smoothed again. With a water-repellent coating, it is possible to program the shape of the veneer when water is added. In order to irreversibly stiffen the resulting appearance, ONE WAY offers a series of fixations which fix the sculptural appearance of the veneer.
