MODULE

segment stool

MODULE consists of nine equally shaped elongated modules. They form a self-stabilizing complex when stacked orthogonally. The individual segments are made of linen fabric (approx. 250g/m2), which is impregnated with bioplastics as strips of fabric. These are stretched alternately lengthwise and crosswise over a cardboard mould. Four layers thus ensure sufficient strength and stability. The biocomposite consisting of the fabric strips, gelatine, glycerine and water only needs to harden.
MODULE is designed as a variable seating system that offers a number of different uses, but also offers many more development possibilities.
