Sebastian Müllquer, 1980 in Scherz/Schweiz geboren, interessiert sich als Designer insbesondere für Aufgaben in der Schnittmenge von Gestaltung, Technik, Natur und menschlichem Eingriff. Er war Gaststudent am Department for Man and Living an der Design Academy in Eindhoven und hat im Studiengang Industrie-Design an der Kunsthochschule Burg Giebichenstein in Halle mit Auszeichnung diplomiert. Zurzeit lebt und arbeitet er in Berlin, wo er das Autonomous System Laboratory gründete, Teil des SUPERKUBUS. eV, einer Plattform für die Entwicklung und den Austausch zwischen Kunst, Design und Wissenschaft. In den letzten Jahren arbeitete er in internationalen Teams an kollaborativen Entwicklungsprojekten wie „Protei”, einem Open-Source Segel-Roboter und TAKU, einem mobilen Labor für Wohnen, Arbeit und Forschung. Ausstellunsgbeteiligungen in Arco (ESP), Ars Electronica (AU), TEKS – metamorf (Norwegen), Transnatural Festival, V2_ Institut für Unstable Media und DEAF (NL).

Sebastian Muellauer is a native german/austrian Creator working in the intersection of Design, Technology, Nature and human intervention. He studied Man and Living at the Design Academy in Eindhoven and received a diploma with distinction in industrial design from the University of Arts – Burg Giebichenstein in Halle. He is currently based in Berlin where he founded the AutonomousSystemLaboratory, being part of the SUPERKUBUS. eV, an association and platform for development and exchange between Art, Design and Science.
