Paper factory

To gain an insight into the world of the paper industry, we visited the Wepa company in Leuna. Kitchen and toilet paper for various brands is produced here.
An extensive tour of the entire production facility not only gave us an impression of the quantities involved in paper production, but also the serial processes that make it possible to produce paper so cheaply in the first place. We were also given an insight into which materials are used and how much or how little of it is recycled paper.
