VISIT OF THE HANNOVER FAIR

Hannover – 16.04.2015

The technology fair in Hannover is the largest of its kind in the world. The exhibition area comprises 26 halls, which are divided into different subject areas.

In one hall there seemed to be only programmed, rotating, almost dancing robot arms, which followed their program but mostly could not react to direct human interaction. Again, different 3D printing processes were presented, which brought different materials into shape – apart from the usual plastic, metals, porcelain and concrete were also used. The hall with the theme “Research & Technology” offered a very broad spectrum of new technologies, mature or in the development stage. Behind the inventions were often amazingly simple techniques.
