Die kleine, längliche Kiste aus Graupappe erinnert an einen Umzugskarton. Nimmt man sie in die Hand und neigt sie, ist ein leises Rauschen zu hören: In ihrem Innern bewegen sich Teilchen. Öffnen wir die Kiste, bleibt zwar verborgen, was das Geräusch verursacht, den Teilchen in Bewegung begegnen wir jedoch in einem Daumenkino wieder. Chaotisch flimmernd verdichten sie sich hier und da zu vertrauten Formen von Alltagsgegenständen: Schere, Wäscheklammer, Löffel, Lampe, … Kaum erkannt, lösen sie sich bereits wieder auf. Auf die Rückseite des Deckels gedruckt, finden wir den Text »*** [und das ist (erst) der anfang]« von Anne Seidel – eine Reflektion über das Umziehen und (Sich-)Neuordnen.

A miniature moving box, slightly oblong and made of grey book board. It makes a soft rustling sound when picked up and tilted: the box seems to contain moving particles. When we open the box, the source of this sound remains hidden, but we encounter the moving particles once more – in a flipbook. Here and there, their chaotic flickering is interrupted as they align into familiar shapes of everyday objects: a pair of scissors, a clothes peg, a spoon, a lamp… Barely recognisable, the forms disperse again. Printed on the inside of the lid, we find Anne Seidel’s text »*** [und das ist (erst) der anfang]« (*** [and this is (only) the beginning]) – a reflection on moving house and (re)organising oneself.
