Personal Statement: Realizing art education projects is at the heart of my seminars focusing on the topics of artistic collaboration, performance art, Aesthetic Research and approaching art works. Artistic experimentation, reading and discussion prepares my students for developing their projects and putting them into practice in public schools and museums. Documentation and critical reflection of their experience form the basis for further explorations.
Performance art is my passion as an artist, an educator and a researcher. As a member of seite.30 I am participating in groupimprovisations and I am developing interactive performances. As a researcher, I want to bridge the gap between performance art and art education. For my doctoral thesis, I am examining teaching-learning scenarios and pedagogical concepts of performance art educators."
