POPEYES ELEMENTS

Rotation moulded Elements to form structures by connecting them

The idea behind the game is that with each connection you can rotate the connector 360 degrees around its axis and thus control the relation of the next element to the previous ones. With enough elements, structures can be built that are defined by the angles.
The approach for “Popeyes Elements” came about while searching with plasticine modelling clay for connector shapes that would carry all the connecting elements within them.
The head of the elements was inspired by the shape of spherical buoys and the overall shape by water drops. The name “Popeyes Elements” comes from “Popeye”, a comic and cartoon character of a sailor, whose pipe looks similar to the connecting element and who also relates to the object through the sea theme.
