HINGEOLATOR

The idea behind our project was to use the example of the door hinge to create a connection that meets our requirements. The special thing about it is that our hinge can be used for different types of doors and flaps. The starting point was to find a two-part, rotating connection in which each of us can design and cast one part by oneself. This also results in a new kind of joint in terms of aesthetics. Our aim was to improve an existing system – it was less about inventing a new connector.
