NEOBIOTICS

The world population is expected to grow to 9.6 billion people by 2050. This means that the number of people on our planet will increase by 2.4 billion over a period of 35 years. The steadily growing population requires more food. However, the areas available to us for growing food are not growing with it. Food is more than simply satisfying hunger. Even in an indefinite future, our basic need for food will remain as unchanged as our desire for comfort and luxury. Only perfect vegetables will still end up in our shops and on our tables, and the crops of the future will be only slightly different in appearance and nutritional value from those of today.
Neobiotics CELLULOSE+ contains numerous bacterial colonies of the Neo-Cellubacter type and allows us to make much more efficient use of our existing food supply while at the same time tapping into a variety of new food sources.

Neo-Cellubacter is an artificially created microorganism, which has been created by genetic manipulation of the bacterial species Lactobacillus acidophilus. Similar to Lactobacillus acidophilus, Neo-Cellubacter settles in the small intestine, where it produces the enzymes necessary to break down the long-chain and energetically valuable multiple sugar cellulose and thus make it available to humans.

In addition to cellulose from plants, which is already part of every healthy diet in large quantities, we can use pure forms of cellulose, such as microcrystalline or bacterial cellulose, to discover completely new foods.

[A neobiotic is a preparation containing viable, artificially created or modified microorganisms. When consumed orally in sufficient quantities, neobiotics can have a health or performance-enhancing effect on the host organism.]
