As part of education and training in the Fundamentals of Visual Art, students are introduced to manual painting skills. They learn how to paint pictures by learning how to work with painting materials. Traditional painting techniques provide stimuli for further creative experiments in search of new paths and forms of artistic expression. Basic painting skills and the practical application of these during the course of study lead to varied range of painting works and offer a solid foundation for expressing one’s own subjectivity more confidently, which represents a step along the path to finding oneself artistically.
