A straw made of sugar

What if thousands of plastic straws used at events, cafés or parties were replaced by environmentally friendly straws? Straws that dissolve in your drink and give you a sweet treat to suck on. That's how I came up with the ‘Straws of Sweetness’ project, a straw that is made from sugar and can have different colours and flavours to enhance your drink and sweeten the taste. A better and cooler alternative to typical plastic straws. The shape is inspired by a sugar cane and has a special end to make it easier to suck the flavour. Less plastic waste and a cool new addition to your cocktail or drink. How fantastic is that!
