Department of Student and Academic Affairs
The Office for Student and Academic Affairs at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle is located in the Kutscherhaus (former coach house) on the Design Campus and the first place to go if you have any questions about studying art or design. It offers students and lecturers personal advice and is also open to anyone who is interested and curious. The Enrolment Office, the Examinations Office, the International Office and the Student Advisory Service are all located under one roof. The BURG Psychological Counselling Service can also be found in the Kutscherhaus.
As an entree and central contact point, the study information centre, which was newly opened in 2017, was developed through an architectural competition addressed to graduates of the Interior Design course. The architectural office "Formgold" won the competetion and was commissioned with the realisation.
