THE POWER OF…

Climate change is becoming a noticeable focus of attention. Scientists, students and even high-ranking institutions are warning more and more urgently of its effects. Most European states committed themselves to the goal of achieving greenhouse gas neutrality by 2050. But the path remains unclear – on the part of politicians, on the part of industry and also on the part of consumers.

In the project the power of… where design meets solar energy, the students faced the open questions on solar energy. With the methods, facets and possibilities of design, plausible and critical strategies for accessible applications and transformation processes were developed, taking technological possibilities as well as political and social aspects into account.

The result will be shown in a special presentation at the Vitra Schaudepot Lab.
