The poster announces “Entanglements – A Mini-Symposium on Collective Authorship,” held on November 4, 9:30–12:00 CET. It includes details on location, speakers, and accessibility, with further information available in the invitation text. Contact: entanglements@burg-halle.de. The title, in black type, visually conveys “entanglements” through knot-like, organic linework. A bright green-yellow contour on a white background echoes this theme with rootlike forms.

____

How much of the projects we create actually belong to us? Where have we already been inspired by others – and how do we feel when our work is used as a source of inspiration? What are the conditions that determine ‘authorship’? Who can be an author, and what does that mean?

The symposium aims to create space for finding answers — and developing even more questions. Studiengruppe Informationsdesign (SI) are honored and excited to welcome esteemed speakers who are sharing insights into their practices and afterwards will be answering questions.

Any thoughts or questions (for the Studiengruppe Informationsdesign or the speakers), as well as requests for access to the symposium’s online space, can be sent to the following email address: entanglements@burg-halle.de
