»Leise im Garten das Feuer« tells the story of three generations of women: Iska, her mother, and her grandmother. Surrounded by mountains, the village is sustained by weary women and governed by rigid rules. Caught between her melancholy struggle with memories and her longing for home, Iska finds herself facing an unexpected pregnancy. Gradually, small pockets of unrest begin to flare up, disrupting the established order of daily life. She must find a way to break free from the exhausting cycle of self-sacrifice.
