The drawings, paintings and writing presented investigate ideas about identity and (its) fragmentarity in relation to time, space and 'the other.' Showing a selection of new works created while studying in CCA's MFA program, this exhibition attempts to mirror the formal and conceptual aspects of the artwork itself, thus re-creating a space that allows multiple different dimensions to co-exist, overlap and interact.

A fourth-year student in Prof. Ute Pleuger's painting class at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, Aline has previously exhibited her work in Berlin, Lübben (Spreewald) and Halle (Saale), Germany. In 2016 she studied with Prof. Jiří Černický at AAAD in Prague for one semester before joining the MFA program at CCA later that year. In March 2016 she was awarded the DAAD scholarship for 2016/17.
