Yopad is a free, privacy-friendly online text editor based on Etherpad. It allows participants to collaborate on documents in real time without registration.

For what?
This tool can be used for collaborative document editing. It is also suitable for providing anonymous feedback or communicating with participants during an event, for example by offering live technical support.

For whom?
Anyone can create a pad; registration is not required. Anyone who has received a link can collaborate on a document. Use is anonymous, allowing everyone to communicate without identification.

How?

• A document can be created via the website: https://yopad.eu
• Under 'Create new pad', enter the name of the document and select the time period. The pad will be deleted once this period has expired.
• You can optionally set a chat name using the icon in the top-right corner.
• The icon with a star saves the current version of the document.
• The icon with an arrow and a clock can be used to restore previous versions of the document.
• Copy the URL and send it to everyone who should have access to the document.
   

Important

• Documents cannot be password-protected. Therefore, links to documents should never be published. In addition, personal data such as real names and addresses should never be shared.
• If the pad is used for collaboration, it is important to determine which content is and isn't appropriate. It is advisable to appoint an administrator to delete any inappropriate content.
• Changes to the document must be saved manually
• The document will be deleted after the specified period has expired. To avoid data loss, it must be saved locally before it gets deleted.
