SESSION #1 – BLENDER WORKSHOP

01.04.2021 – Workshop with Tom Witschel

Blender is the free and open source software for modeling, animation and rendering. It has developed in such a way that is often used in a professional context – and therefore especially for yound graduates very useful.
However, it is not easy to grasp at first sight. Therefore, the blender expert Tom Witschel gave an intense introduction into the key functions relevant for our project. The focus lied on rendering of different textures (such as stony like textures), using HDRI images as background and creating animations using particle effects.
Tom supported the student along the way – not just technically but also with very helpful comments concerning the conception of the animations.

Great thanks to
Tom Witschel
