Während wir ständig an die Welt gerichtet produzieren und uns präsentieren – dabei Privatsphäre und öffentliche Authentizität ausbalancieren – liegt eine Stärke in der ziellosen Korrespondenz mit einem gleichgesinnten Individuum, zu diskutieren, teilen, irren, wagen, sich kümmern.

Anhand von veröffentlichten Beispielen wie I'm Very Into You von Kathy Acker und McKenzie Wark, Herzzeit von Ingeborg Bachmann und Paul Celan und anderen werden wir über die immersive Erfahrung der Korrespondenz sowohl für die Autoren als auch für die Lesenden nachdenken.

Dieses konversationsreiche Seminar konzentriert sich auf die transformative Kraft des Dialogs und die Werkzeuge, die Sie benötigen, um Ihre kollaborative Stimme zu amplifizieren.

Erzähl-/Schreibübungen und redaktionelle Arbeiten werden durch technische und experimentelle Riso-Inputs begleitet.
Im Laufe von 5 Terminen arbeiten Sie in Zweierteams und manifestieren Ihre Korrespondenz im Laufe des Semesters in einer gemeinsamen Publikation. Für den Kurs fällt ein Kostenbeitrag von ca. 30 Euro für das Material an.

While we constantly produce, perform and speak to the world – balancing privacy yet public authenticity – there lays a strength in an aimless correspondance with one likeminded individual, discussing, sharing, straying, daring, caring.

Learning from published examples like I’m Very Into You by Kathy Acker and McKenzie Wark, Herzzeit by Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan and others we will reflect on the immersive experience of correspondance for both the authors as well as the reader.

This conversational seminar has a focus on the transformative power of the dialogue and the tools you need to amplify your collaborative voice.

Narrative / writing exercises and editorial work will be accompagnied by technical and experimental Riso-inputs.
Over the course of 5 appointments, You will work in teams of two, manifesting your correspondance over the course of the semester in one collaborative publication. For the course there is a cost contribution of about 30 euros for the material.
