The course

Figure Sculpture discipline within the Plastic Arts ‘Diplom’ degree course

Focuses of this course of study

The figure is the central subject here. In our case, the umbrella term of “figure” is defined by the interrelationship, the complex interplay of human beings, and the spatial and social landscapes that they inhabit. Traditional focuses of education in this field include figure, groups of figures/spatial installation, portraits and relief. Materials should ideally be selected based on the subject, the content of the work. In addition, multi-disciplinary projects are encouraged here.

Cooperation with other classes is very much desired.
