Focuses of this course of study
Extraction of innovative problem areas – Visionary development of efficient solution concepts – VR presentation of virtual solution spaces – Knowledge transfer on design, IT, psychology, communication studies and authoring (mainly 2D/3D authoring) – Project training (around 50%).
Professional qualification
An MM|VR conceptioner – comparable with a scriptwriter or director in film production – must be capable of identifying fascinating problem areas, particularly in the areas of information and communication society, and of describing and illustrating them in both words and images. Conceptioners formulate solution approaches together with specialists and then implement these as part of a team in the form of virtual spaces where actions occur. They also possess the required knowledge of nonverbal, image-based communication, mnemonic storage of knowledge and the object-based scenic and action-based presentation of solution approaches.
Prerequisites
Proof of a bachelor’s degree or third-level diploma in areas such as design, communication, IT and the natural sciences (design, media and communication studies, journalism, film and TV directing, pedagogy, media and design IT, computer graphics, visual studies, computational physics etc.).
